Both the House and Senate have passed the 2024 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and it is on its way to the President’s Desk. We are happy to report there was no troublesome language regarding the credit card competition act or anything that would open up the Federal Credit Union Act to last-minute modifications. DCUC worked well with the national trades and league partners in helping to guide the NDAA to this point.
That said, it is on to next year’s NDAA where we will be on the lookout for changes that affect our members along with introduction of a new Military Banking Program Improvement Act, which will be needed in defending defense credit unions in the years to come. Thank you all for your support and for serving our military and veteran communities. Comments are closed.
