WASHINGTON, DC – The Defense Credit Union Council (DCUC) is proud to announce its 2023 Conference with a Purpose fundraiser raised a total of $38,000 for the Robert Irvine Foundation. This brings the total funds raised by DCUC’s Conference with a Purpose to $438,000 since 2003.
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – The Defense Credit Union Council (DCUC) has officially concluded its 60th Annual Conference. Throughout this year’s conference, attendees and guests were a part of valuable discussions and heard from several influential speakers including military and industry leaders.
Over this week, I’ve had the distinct honor of attending the Defense Credit Union Council’s Annual Conference in Colorado Springs. Nothing is more noble than protecting the financial freedom of those who protect our physical freedom, as the NCUA’s Honorable Rodney E. Hood alluded to during his remarks. DCUC’s mission to serve those who serve our country is front-and-center in every event they host. This year the event included another notable session.
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – The Defense Credit Union Council’s (DCUC) 2023 Annual Conference moved into another conference day featuring a presentation by keynote speaker and former U.S. Army Ranger, Keni Thomas, a highly anticipated trade association panel discussion, and insights from NUCA Board Chair, the Honorable Rodney Hood.
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – DCUC’s Annual Conference is a unique event, being the only conference within the industry that offers attendees the DoD and military perspective on credit union services and issues. DCUC has long recognized the difference credit unions make in the daily lives of our nation’s military and veterans. Once again, this year’s conference offers credit unions an opportunity to gather and discuss the specific challenges that come with serving this unique population while also gaining insights on the latest legislative and regulatory issues.
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – The Defense Credit Union Council (DCUC) continued its 60th Annual Conference on Tuesday, August 8, with its first keynote speaker presentation, the DCUC Advocacy Update, the Department of the Air Force Credit Union of the Year awards for the week, and four sponsor breakout sessions.
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – The Defense Credit Union Council’s (DCUC) 60th Annual Conference has officially begun! DCUC welcomed attendees and guests to this year’s conference on Monday, August 7, 2023, at the Broadmoor Resort and Spa in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
DCUC, CUNA, and NAFCU sent a joint trades letter to Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) expressing our support of the Senate Amendment 206 to the 2024 NDAA. This amendment would help to remove many current constraints and barriers DoD has recently placed on credit unions. It would also aid in increasing proficiency in financial literacy efforts on installations and improve the financial readiness of our Nation’s service members.
