Value of a DCUC Membership
DCUC is proud to be our members' voice at the DoD/Pentagon's highest levels. DCUC assists with solving on-base issues, such as operating agreements, land leases, and on-base access. We provide updates on installation issues, obtaining the information first through our partnership with the Association of Defense Communities.
Legislative & Regulatory Representation
DCUC advocates on behalf of your credit union and empowers you with representation at the national level on Capitol Hill and with industry Regulators. DCUC provides an expert voice on issues affecting Defense Credit Unions and servicemembers' financial well-being to strengthen the defense credit union movement.
Resources for Education
DCUC is the place to get industry resources, relevant news and insights, and professional development materials. We provide continuing education opportunities for your staff through our GEM Scholarship program and we offer four educational conferences per year where you can learn all the latest in DoD news beyond just the banking and financials. DCUC also provides financial education resources and training modules such as the Blended Retirement System Guide.
Network and Professional Credibility
The DCUC brand shows your members that you are part of a respected network that is truly serving those who serve our country. Our trade association offers valuable networking opportunities with industry leaders and fellow Defense Credit Union colleagues who understand the challenges and pride in serving our military. Networking allows the opportunity to stay on top of important, ever-evolving issues, trends, and legislation within the industry.
DCUC is perfectly positioned to take the lead in fighting to ensure the
Military Lending Act won't hurt servicemembers on active duty."
