WASHINGTON, DC – The Defense Credit Union Council (DCUC) and Earnest Consulting Group (ECG) are pleased to announce a new strategic partnership focused on building even more capacity in serving the interests of credit unions serving military and veteran communities. This collaboration represents another significant milestone in DCUC’s mission to provide unparalleled support to defense credit unions and the communities they serve.
“Mike Pappalardo, President/CEO, flew to Washington, DC last week and we immediately formed a connection. I also met with the entire leadership team at ECG and saw their commitment to supporting military and veteran communities,” says Anthony Hernandez, DCUC President/CEO. “I know we can build a larger trade association that will focus on serving our member credit unions and the communities they serve.”

By joining forces, DCUC and ECG will further enhance the resources available to defense credit unions, equipping them with innovative solutions, tailored products, and effective industry representation. This partnership will also strengthen advocacy efforts on behalf of defense credit unions serving military members, veterans, and their families, and ensure these communities receive the financial support they deserve.

Hernandez added, “Thank you, Mike, and the entire team at ECG, for believing in our mission and joining our cause. I take these commitments very seriously and I am confident this collaboration will help both DCUC and ECG help our members build a successful future.”

Mike Pappalardo, President/CEO of ECG, echoed this sentiment, expressing enthusiasm for the partnership’s impact. “Earnest Consulting Group is honored to partner with DCUC, an organization that has identified a significant opportunity within the industry,” says Pappalardo. “We believe strong partnerships drive meaningful change, and by joining forces, we can extend our reach and amplify our efforts to support defense credit unions and the communities they serve. Tony has outlined a bold vision for the future, one that closely aligns with our values and commitment to progress. We are proud to stand alongside him and are fully dedicated to making that vision a reality.”

As part of DCUC’s commitment to growth and increased member value, each of these strategic partnerships aims to provide industry-leading solutions, educational content, and ongoing support for DCUC’s advocacy efforts on behalf of America’s defense credit unions.
