WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the Defense Credit Union Council (DCUC) congratulates Lauren Culp as the new Executive Director of the National Credit Union Foundation (NCUF).

​WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the Defense Credit Union Council, (DCUC), sent a letter addressed to Senators Richard Blumenthal and Elizabeth Warren, and Representative Maxine Waters expressing its opposition to S. 4943, the “Protecting Consumers from Payment Scams Act.” This legislation proposes to expand the scope of the Electronic Fund Transfer Act (EFTA).

​WASHINGTON, DC – The Defense Credit Union Council (DCUC) is proud to announce its 2024 Conference with a Purpose fundraiser raised a total of $25,000 for USA Cares. This brings the total funds for DCUC’s Conference with a Purpose raised to $463,000 since 2003.

​Pensacola, Florida (August 15, 2024) – PenAir Credit Union (PenAir) is proud to announce the launch of its "Old Glory" flag retirement program, a new initiative dedicated to the respectful retirement of old, worn, or tattered American flags. Community members are encouraged to bring their retired flags to any PenAir branch to ensure flags are retired with the honor they deserve.

PETERSBURG, FL – The Defense Credit Union Council (DCUC) 2024 Annual Conference continued on Wednesday, August 14, beginning with its patriotic opening ceremony led by DCUC Board Chair Jack Fallis. During his opening remarks, Fallis touched on DCUC’s growth and broadened mission over the years, and how the Council is positioning its representation on behalf of all credit unions serving military and veterans’ financial needs.
