President and Chief Executive Officer, Stewart Ramsey, Retires Position at Pen Air FCU

Pensacola, FLA. (August 4, 2020) – On behalf of the Board of Directors at Pen Air Federal Credit Union, we announce the retirement of our President and Chief Executive Officer, Stewart Ramsey, effective August 1, 2020.
Ramsey served as a leader and member of the Pen Air Family for 8 years. Ramsey’s credit union career started in 2001 as Chief Financial Officer at Blackhawk Community Credit Union (Janesville, WI), where he was later promoted to President/CEO. He accepted one additional CEO position in 2007 at Fort Campbell Federal Credit Union (Clarksville, TN) before transitioning to Pen Air in 2012.
Throughout the duration of Ramsey’s tenure, Pen Air’s assets have increased from $1.2 billion dollars to $1.8 billion dollars. He has served on numerous boards and committees for non-profit, church, credit union, and community organizations.
The Board of Directors at Pen Air will be conducting an Executive Search for a new Chief Executive Officer and President to be named early next year. Pen Air’s Chief Strategy Officer, Carroll Scarborough, will succeed Ramsey as Interim President/CEO. Please be assured that Pen Air is in good hands and will continue to flourish under Scarborough’s leadership.
