OKLAHOMA CITY - Tinker Federal Credit Union’s Financial Empowerment team has joined forces with Goodwill of Central Oklahoma’s High School Equivalency (HSE) program to teach financial education workshops.
Workshop topics include Psychology of Money and Breezing through the Holidays. The workshops began November 19, 2018, and will continue through early January.
Goodwill’s HSE program provides educational guidance and training to individuals preparing for the GED and other HSE tests. It helps participants improve basic skills in reading, language and math. This program also includes post-secondary or vocational training opportunities.
Assistant Vice President and Financial Empowerment Manager Heather Kay said, “I am excited for this opportunity to provide financial education workshops and expand on our partnership with Goodwill of Central Oklahoma.”
