VIENNA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Navy Federal Credit Union’s branch located on Camp Lemonnier in Djibouti, Africa, was named the Department of the Navy’s Distinguished Credit Union of the Year Tuesday during the Defense Credit Union Council’s (DCUC) Annual Conference in Williamsburg, Virginia. This is the 12th consecutive “Credit Union of The Year” award Navy Federal has received for one of its branches from the United States Navy.
“This is one of our most unique branches, literally serving on the frontlines in Djibouti,” said Jeffrey Johnson, the Navy Federal branch manager. “Whether we are overseas, or in the U.S., our goal is to always provide our members with the best possible experience and help them achieve their financial goals.
