CFPB orders bank to pay $225 mil in relief for credit card practices

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has ordered GE Capital Retail Bank, now known as Synchrony Bank, to provide approximately $225 million in relief to consumers affected by what it labeled "illegal and discriminatory" credit card practices. More
