The Consumer Financial Protection Bureaus (CFPB) Office of Servicemember Affairs is hosting its fourth Virtual Military Educator Forum on veteran consumer issues this Friday, May 9.

Veterans contend with a host of critical consumer issues. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain important insight into solutions that can help you, or veterans you work with, deal with issues such as navigating the GI Bill benefits system or fighting consumer scams that target military retiree and veterans benefits.

This event will focus on common consumer issues for veterans and military retirees. Highlights of the forum will include a review of tools that can help veterans capitalize on key benefits and information that can help veterans avoid consumer scams.

The forum is open to veterans and military service organization staff; Department of Veterans Affairs service providers; Department of Defense transition assistant counselors; educators, financial counselors, legal aid attorneys, and others that talk to military retirees and veterans about their benefits.

Anyone who works with veterans or military retirees is highly encouraged to watch.
