DCUC, NAFCU and CUNA Communicate MLA Compliance Challenges to DoD and NCUA

DCUC teamed up with the National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU) and the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) to communicate with the Department of Defense (DoD) in a letters sent on Wednesday and Thursday, the need for the withdrawal of Question and Answer 2 (QA2) due its increased regulatory confusion and its potential to have a negative impact on the financial health of servicemembers.
On Wednesday, DCUC and NAFCU also sent a letter to the NCUA reiterating the need for the NCUA to strongly recommend the DoD rescind question No. 2.
