NEWPORT NEWS, VA – Langley for Families Foundation presented a $10,000 check to Transitions Family Violence Services. The donation was awarded during the agency’s 40 Years of Service Celebration. The funds will be used to provide emergency shelter, services and programs for victims of domestic violence. Transitions works to increase awareness of domestic violence and to build safe and healthy families on the Virginia Peninsula.

““We appreciate Langley’s continued support and thrilled they are part of our 40 Years Celebration,” stated Transitions Executive Director Sanu Dieng. “A majority of the funds donated will be put to great use to support the Next Step transitional housing program and other much needed program services to assist our clients.”
